Backdrop:

A very early morning muse

Journal entry begins:

                Dear Great Spirit of the Universe, life on earth is a few days for each human. This is me, living my few days.  What a thought, and yet it is so true.

I have an awareness that all of the things “important” to me and the things I am pursuing are really not important at all.  I have an understanding, a vision – that what I consider difficult will one day be thought of as easy, and I can already imagine that the size of the “problem” will be the equivalent of a fruit fly.

Having that understanding gives my “now” awareness a different perspective on my endeavors.  The importance I place on any of it has to be carried with this perspective so that I can live lightly with my dreams and not take myself too seriously.  They are all your ideas anyway.

How much of a vessel can I be?
